Shari Thakar

I have always loved storytellings through whatever means. when I was little i would find myself day dreaming constantly, always coming up with ideas and making up stories to whoever would listen. My passion has always been writing but my skill-set led me to editing. I love editing and putting together the directors vision and trust that they allow me to add my own flair. I have worked on a number of projects, Music Videos, Commericals, Short Film, Independent feature lengths films. Every new project I learn something knew, whther it be about myself or my skills or be able to strectch my creativity to make the directors work come to life and every new project i bring a what I learnt from my previous work and mistakes and grow and get better and better. I love collaborating and being able to showcase my talent, skillset and storytelling ability.

This year I wanted to take my passion for filmmaking and in particular animation. I launched my own studio Cactus29 Studios. Cactus represents being able to survive in very hostile and dry environments and still persevere and thats what I represent. An industry that is so hard to succeed yet here I am and Im looking to build something of my own.
